What is an associate photographer? We're so glad you asked! Associates are professional photographers who have been carefully selected as a dream fit for our Ink & Willow couples. Each associate is trained to work in the signature style of our sister brand, Jenny King Photography. Inspired by Jenny's love for natural light and genuine moments, our associate photographers are experts at preserving memories and capturing timeless imagery.
Your associate photographer is the person who will show up on your wedding day to capture all the memories. In the meantime, all preparation and communication leading up to the wedding day is handled by Jenny. Jenny will take care of organizing your wedding day timeline, all communication, and everything else that goes into our client experience (after guiding hundreds of couples through this process, she's the expert!).

Hi! I 'm Shelby, your go-to wedding photographer & story teller My love for photography began in the MySpace era (cue the mirror selfies!) with a hot pink point & shoot Fujifilm Finepix Z5fd - complete with sliding lens cover. From documenting family vacations to capturing heartfelt moments, I've always had a camera in hand, unknowingly laying the foundation for my future career.
In 2014, I photographed my first engagement session for a close friend, never imaging that just a few years, I'd be turning my passion into a full-time journey as a wedding photographer.

In my everyday life, you'll often find me baking sourdough bread or breaking a sweat in group fitness classes at the gym - it's my favorite way to recharge! My boys are my everything. I've been married to my amazing husband, Nick, since March 2018, & together we are raising two sweet sons, Waker & Wyatt, along with our Texas Heeler, Cooper, who keeps us on our toes. It's the little details - both big & small - that make life so special, & I'm constantly learning to embrace & celebrate every moment.
