I'm Shelby & for me, photography is about celebrating life's biggest joys and preserving those moments in time for generations to come. Growing up, I was always drawn to photography not only as a creative outlet but as a tool to document different chapters of life. You can find me constantly filling up albums & picture frames with my favorite memories. I love photographing people organically & genuinely while gently guiding them through posing along the way. Providing my clients with images that are indicative of the time in their life is a goal I strive for while keeping their images timeless & classic.
I am born & raised in Victoria, Texas and I am so blessed to be living in my hometown pursuing a career that I absolutely LOVE. I have been married to my handsome husband, Nick, for about 3 years now and we love spending time together with our Texas Heeler, Cooper. On a wedding day I always get butterflies on behalf of my couples because I remember that wonderful feeling of giddy excitement on my own wedding day. Your wedding day is about YOU and I will be there to celebrate you and tell your story thoughtfully & thoroughly through my lens.
In addition to photography, another passion of mine is stationery & design. I own a small business called Grey Feather Design Studio that specializes in stationery, design consulting, & drafting services. Just like photography, I believe that paper & the spaces we inhabit hold the past, present, & future all in one and it's important for elements of YOU and your story to be reflected. Whether it's through a beautifully crafted wedding invitation or helping you re-design a space in your home to better embody who you are, I love bringing out the best in every project making sure my client's personalities shine through.
If you're still here reading, I want you to know that I pride myself on being detail-oriented and I want to make your forever day run as smoothly as possible. I am so honored to experience and be a part of a chapter in each and every one of my couples' love stories and it is my highest goal to effortlessly convey the essence of your vision in your wedding gallery so that you can relive your forever day over & over. I can't wait to meet you!
Hi, I’m Hanna! I was born & raised in Victoria, Tx. This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I love it here! Living in a smallish town & raising a family has been a goal of mine for years. I’m happy to say, it’s currently my reality! I have a son who is 3, he keeps me on my toes, loves his pop-pops (suckers) & is always ready for an outdoor adventure! I have been married to my husband for almost 7 years now, he’s always making us laugh & can smoke a mean rack of ribs. Let's not forget our pup Marceline. We rescued her at 3 weeks & she is the biggest sweetheart ever.
I have always been outgoing, social & creative. Once I had my son I struggled with being a new mom & finding myself again. Looking for an outlet to help remind myself of who I was & wanting to explore more creativity I found photography. Being able to connect with clients is like a breath of fresh air! I love all the smiles, kisses, laughs & sometimes even tears I get to see from behind the lens. I feel connected with my clients & leave shoots feeling like I made a new friends. I’m grateful to be apart of these milestones with my clients. Gallery delivery is my fave. Revealing the beauty I see to my clients themselves is so rewarding & truly one of my favorite things about my job.
I met my husband Brian when I was 13...talking about my husband always gets me in my feels! We were on & off for some time. When I was 18 I decided to make the move to Austin. Weeks before leaving Victoria, Brian came to my house & we decided to give it another shot. He went home, packed up & moved to Austin with me! It was on a whim, but we’ve been together ever since that day. Brian was in the Army at the time & had a deployment coming up. Spending that year (very) long distance was not easy. I applaud anyone who has/is doing it! We made it through that year & not long after he came back home we got engaged! He’s my best friend, the father of my son, my biggest supporter & is ALMOST as funny as me.
A perfect weekend for me would be taking our RV out with the family for some R&R. I love being able to change our scenery & have quality time together as a family. (Fun fact: my husband was an RV sales man growing up)
We both have memories of RV trips with our families growing up, so we knew we wanted our son to experience the same. We’ve been everywhere from a music festival in Marfa, to Jelly Stone Park with gold mining & a water park. If you’ve ever wanted to get an RV, this is your sign!
you'll hear from me shortly.
